DNA purification from complex reaction mixtures and for sequencing applications

• Recovery of DNA (0.1 - 10 Kbp) from complex solutions (e.g. amplification mixtures, restriction digest, alkaline phosphatase reactions).
• Can be used for DNA concentration, avoiding product losses during ethanol precipitation.
• Complete elimination of enzymes, unincorporated nucleotides, primers, primer-dimers, salts, etc.
• Purified DNA can be directly used for downstream applications (cloning, restriction digest, amplification, labelling), including automated and manual sequencing.
• Use of columns avoids carryover of silica particles, that may interfere with downstream applications.
• 70 - 80 % recovery yield. A260/280 values of 1.7 - 2.0.
• Fast (total protocol time around 25 minutes).
